Bold and Beautiful Blacks
Org. Himalayan Imperial Black 50g - An incredible, handmade, Nepali 1st flush, this tea is an elegant monster to rival many of the best Chinese HongChas (black/red teas).
Clean, bright and brisk, while low on astringency and obvious tannins, it also has a gorgeous aroma and taste of cacao/chocolate.
Red Phoenix 25g - A different Fenghuang "Phoenix" mountain tea, "Red Phoenix" was harvested in April 2018 at an altitude of 800m at Tiam Zhu Keng Village and is a deep oxidation of the raw leaf material usually reserved for oolong production. A classic, large Dan Cong leaf steeps to reveal a sweet, slightly malty, red berry liquor with woody notes and the characteristic Dan Cong floral aroma and astringency waving from a distance.
"Okayti “Gold Treasure” 25g - An unusual spring tea from the high mountain, organic Okayti garden of Darjeeling.A careful harvest and process has led to an incredibly furry, golden tea, full of small tips.Capable of many steeps full of sweet malt and roasted nuts that lingers long after consumption.Yum!

About The Tea Catcher
1997-2001 The Tea Catcher lived, travelled, worked and studied in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Italy and the Czech Republic. During this time he drank much tea and visited tea growing regions.
2001-2009 Was spent mostly in Europe working with fine foods and olive oils in Italy, wine in Switzerland and tea in Prague. It was here in the cold winter months that The Tea Catcher passion was ignited. Much time was spent in the many tea rooms found all over the Czech Rep., drinking, learning and assisting, and also with Tea Mountain(.cz) as his business began and grew.
2010-today on return to Australia, The Tea Catcher seed, planted years ago, began its’ growth, leading to the purveyor of “the finest teas and accoutrements, sourced worldwide” that you see today. New teas, pots etc are constantly being chased, studied, sampled and ordered to bring the freshest, best and most interesting to you as soon as possible. Watch this space…..!
…and enjoy…!
