1. Arya Tara Spring Wonder 50g- a tasty spring tea produced by the Arya Tara estate, Ilam Nepal in spring 2018. Still in very good shape and a nice way to dip your toe in the "Darjeeling style" light oxidation, fresh, floral "black" teas.
2. Jasmine Xiang Hao green 50g- a simple and tasty, everyday Jasmine green from China. Cheap, tasty and satisfying.
3. Arya Tara "Golden Wonder" Nepalese Hand-rolled Tippy 2nd Flush 2020 SOLD OUT
An excellent tea produced by a small tea factory called Arya Tara, located in Ilam Nepal, at around 1500 m above sea level. Hand picked and processed, using only the two upper leaves and the silver tips from a selected cultivar at the end of June.
This beautiful tea gives up a fresh, crisp, deep golden amber liquor with notes of flowers and a hint of exotic fruit, grapes, malt and gooseberries. A rare and special tea.
4. Jasmine "Goddess" 50g (new 2021 batch!!) - a fun and friendly light Tie Guan Yin lightly scented with fresh Jasmine flowers. Quality reflects the price but this is a forgiving tea for fans of Jasmine Peals or Jasmine Silver Needles.

About The Tea Catcher
1997-2001 The Tea Catcher lived, travelled, worked and studied in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Italy and the Czech Republic. During this time he drank much tea and visited tea growing regions.
2001-2009 Was spent mostly in Europe working with fine foods and olive oils in Italy, wine in Switzerland and tea in Prague. It was here in the cold winter months that The Tea Catcher passion was ignited. Much time was spent in the many tea rooms found all over the Czech Rep., drinking, learning and assisting, and also with Tea Mountain(.cz) as his business began and grew.
2010-today on return to Australia, The Tea Catcher seed, planted years ago, began its’ growth, leading to the purveyor of “the finest teas and accoutrements, sourced worldwide” that you see today. New teas, pots etc are constantly being chased, studied, sampled and ordered to bring the freshest, best and most interesting to you as soon as possible. Watch this space…..!
…and enjoy…!
cheers, Stu
